How to Play

Mancala · Kalah Variant

1. Each player owns the 6 pits on their side and one large store to their right.
2. The game starts with 4 seeds in each pit. Stores start empty.
3. On your turn, pick up all seeds from one of your pits and sow them one by one counter-clockwise. Skip your opponent's store.
4. Free turn: If your last seed lands in your own store, take another turn immediately.
5. Capture: If your last seed lands in an empty pit on your side, you capture it plus all seeds in the pit directly opposite — all go into your store.
6. The game ends when one player's pits are completely empty. The other player collects all remaining seeds.
7. Most seeds in your store wins! There are 48 seeds total.
